The JBG Truck
Another JBG "trademark" (see below) was his 1953 Chevrolet pickup truck with large "JBG" sideboards. I'm having the truck restored, as shown here. Supposedly, the restoration will be completed in January or February 2006. I'll post pictures of the final product.

My first vehicle was a 1957 Chevrolet Apache, complete with a kickstart, a/k/a the "Brown Bomb." There were no wipers, mirrors, door handles didn't work, etc. The only worthy aspects of it were the St.Pauli girl beer sticker and the leather bench seat. Some pathetic soul stole the seat, leaving me and my twin brother to perch on a 10 gallon bucket while driving. I'll never forget my twin cornering a local street at top speed (25mph), the bucket tipping, and my twin flying out the drivers-side door. The Bomb would not be restored.
